• Minister of Finance: We complete what we started in taxes... facilitating and reducing obligations and burdens
Ahmed Kajok, Minister of Finance, confirmed that we (will complete what we started with taxes.. Facilitating, simplifying and reducing obligations and burdens), during the next fiscal year with the implementation of the new budget, pointing to the implementation of real estate, tax and customs facilitation packages to facilitate citizens and investors.
The minister, in a press conference, said, "Thank you. For the business community's trust and its quick and strong response to the first package of tax breaks... Together we will succeed in the second package, stating that we are targeting a 27% increase in tax revenues by attracting new taxpayers voluntarily and without additional burdens, and we look forward to bringing 100,000 new taxpayers into the simplified and integrated tax system with unprecedented incentives and facilities.
He added that we aim to provide distinguished services through three distinct tax centers, in a way that achieves a leap in the quality of the services provided, explaining that a tax excellence card will be launched for committed taxpayers that will provide additional services and benefits to them...and the distinguished taxpayer must feel appreciated.
